Ingredients
Steamed Fishballs and fragrant Tomato Sauce
- 400 grams White Fish Fillets, Skinless, boneless and roughly chopped
- 30 grams coriander, Leaves only
- 1 tablespoon Lemon rind/Juice
- 1 free range egg
- 2 tbsp wholemeal breadcrumbs
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 portion brown onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 10 grams fresh ginger
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon Coconut sugar
- 400 grams tomatoes, Fresh or tinned chopped
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 red capsicum

Recipe's preparation
- Place lemon rind in bowl
"Blend" 3secs, speed 8
Add fish fillets and coriander"Blend" 10secs, speed 8
Add egg, turmeric, breadcrumbs & S&P"Counter-clockwise operation" 5ecs, speed 6
Roll into balls and rest in fridge until sauce is ready to be cooked. - Fragrant tomato sauce
In mixing bowl place onion, garlic & ginger"Blend" 5secs, speed 8
Scrape down sides.
Add cumin, paprika and olive oil. 2mins Varoma, speed 2
Add tomatoes, red peppers, tomato paste and coconut sugar,"Blend" 8sec, speed 6
Place balls onto both layers on Varoma, place into position and cook 17mins, Varoma, speed 2
Once cooking time is up, take off Varoma and sit to rest. Check sauce for taste (may need a little sugar depending on sweetness of tomatoes or extra salt & pepper.
Serve simply with boiled new potatoes or steamed rice and your favourite greens.
