  • 30 g Evoo, (extra virgin olive oil)
  • 20 g cornflour
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 500 g Chicken thigh fillets, - 2cm strips
  • 250 g sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cube chicken stock
  • 70 g honey
  • 70 g wholegrain mustard
  • 100 g water
  • 150 g cream cheese, (or cream)

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Chop garlic and onion, 3-5 sec/Sp7

  2. Scrape down bowl, add EVOO and cook 2 min/100C/Speed 1

  3. Add turmeric and flour and mix 3 sec/Speed 4.

  4. Add the rest of the ingredients except cream cheese and cook Counter-clockwise operation for 20 mins/90 C/Gentle stir setting

  5. Add cream cheese and cook Counter-clockwise operation for a further 10 mins/100C/Gentle stir setting MC OFF

  6. Serve on rice and enjoy!

Tip

if using cream instead of cream cheese, the recipe will be runnier than if you use cream cheese.
