Sundried Tomato & Broccoli Penne

Ingredients

  • 1 brown onion, Quartered
  • 3 Garlic cloves peeled
  • 100 g Semi Dried Tomatoes
  • 20 g Olive Oil.
  • 220 g Bacon Pieces
  • 150 g mushroom sliced
  • 10 Florets of broccoli, halved
  • 580 g cream, this was a 600ml container for me
  • 500 g dried penne pasta
  • 2 litres water, varies on amount dedending of method pasta is cooked
  • 40 g grated parmesen cheese

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Place water into a pot on the stove top, turn temp to high to start boiling water.

    Place onion, garlic into thermi, blend on sp 5, 20sec or unti sound change.

    Add Sundried tomato and blend on sp 5, 20 sec or until sound change.

    Add Oil and Bacon pieces, 100 degrees, 6mins, Counter-clockwise operationGentle stir setting

    Add Mushrooms, broccoli and cream. 50 degrees, 15mins, Counter-clockwise operationGentle stir setting. Add your pasta to the boiling water on stove top at the same time. 

    Drain Pasta and return to pot. Pour pasta sauce from thermi into pasta and dish out into portions top with grated parmesen and serve immidiately

    I haven't used bacon ( I needed a vegetarian meal) and I cooked a little bit more the vegetables.
