  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1/2 Red onion (cut in quarter), can use brown onion or leek
  • 200 grams bacon, Diced
  • 6 sprig fresh thyme, Can use 1 1/2 TBS dried (fresh is better)
  • 20 gram Butter
  • 70 gram dry white wine
  • 25 gram plain flour
  • 135 gram water
  • 1 teaspoons chicken stock paste
  • 150 gram cream
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Recipe's preparation

    Creamy Bacon Thyme Sauce
  1. This sauce is great served over pasta (tortellini is great) or can be served with chicken or fish.

    STEP 1: Add garlic to TM bowl, Chop 3 sec/ speed 6, scrape down.
    STEP 2: Add Red onion to TM bowl, Chop 2 sec/ Speed 6, Scrape dwon.
    STEP 3: Add Bacon, Thyme, butter; Saute 5 mins/ 110 deg/ speed 1.5 reverse.
    STEP 4: Add wine, cook 2 mins/ 120 deg/ speed 1.5 reverse
    STEP 5: Add plain flour, water, stock paste, cream; Cook 8 mins/ 105 deg/ speed 2 reverse.
    STEP 6: Add parmesan cheese, 20 sec/ Reverse/ Speed 2. Season with salt and pepper.

Tip

We serve this with chicken Tortellini for a complete meal but is great with any pasta. Serve with extra parmesan sprinkled over the top.
