    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place Parmesan cheese into mixing bowl and grate 10sec/speed10 and set aside.

  2. Cut spring onions into (roughly) 10 cm pieces and place into mixing bowl. Chop 3sec/speed5 repeat if you like it finer

  3. Add bacon & olive oil into bowl and saute 5min/120deg/speed1Counter-clockwise operation

  4. Add eggs, egg yolk, reserve grated cheese, black pepper & thickened cream and mix 3min/120deg/speed3Counter-clockwise operation

     

    Your carbonara sauce is now ready to be added to a pasta of your choice =)

    tasted ok but my cream cheese and eggs curdled but was fine dont know where I went wrong
