      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Love this recipe. I also deleted steps 2-4 and chopped cauliflower up small and added it to step 9. Also added lots of spinach at the end and didn't do the peas as I didn't have any. I also added to cloves of garlic with the onions stage. I will definitely be doing this again.

Wow this was sooo yummy hubby requested mushroom risotto but I had heaps of cauliflower to use up so I combined the 2 in this recipe so I added the mushrooms with the bacon and just omitted the peas cos come on who really needs greens 🤣

I didn't want mushy cauli so ommitted steps one to four. Used leek instead of onion. Deleted step 8 as didn't add cream. Chopped cauli into small florets and added at step 9. Result was still a creamy well cooked rissotto with a bit of texture. Will make again.

This is really delicious, thank you for posting it. I'd add about 3 or 4 times the baby spinach at the end if I did it again. Love the smokeyness of the bacon through it. Great winter dish.

Definitely a winner! I used tasty cheese as I always do, and bacon straight from the freezer! I also added 2 big handfuls of spinach at the frozen peas step.
