For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

Recipe's preparation
- 1. Add water, 20g ghee and 1.5 teaspoons of salt to the jug then insert the simmering basket
2. Add the rice in the basket and remaining salt
3. Fry off the vermicelli noodles using the remaining ghee in a pan until golden
4. Add the noodles and ghee from the pan over the rice and stir well all together
5. place lid and mc - 20mins, 100degrees, speed 4
