Tuna & Egg Pasta Bake

Ingredients

8 portion(s)

Bread

  • 4 slices bread
  • 150 grams Tasty cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1 onion, halved
  • 20 grams olive oil
  • 30 grams Butter
  • 50 grams plain flour
  • 500 grams Milk
  • 70 grams Frozen Corn Kernals
  • 1 tbsp vegetable stock concentrate, From EDC
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 425 grams Tuna in springwater
  • 6 Hard boiled eggs, Peeled & Chopped
  • 500 grams Dry Macaroni Pasta, or Pasta of choice and cook according to directions.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Preheat Oven to 180 degrees

    2. Mix bread 10 secs sp9 into Breadcrumbs and set aside

    3. Grate Cheese 6 secs sp9 and set aside

    4. Chop Onion 3 secs sp7 scrap down sides

    5. Add Oil and saute 3 mins varoma sp1

    6. Add Butter, Flour and Milk cook for 7 mins, 90 degrees sp4

    7. Insert Butterfly and add corn, vegie stock, Mustard, Tuna & Cheese and cook Counter-clockwise operation 10 mins, 90 degrees Gentle stir setting

    8. Combine Tuna sauce, eggs and Pasta, put in a baking dish and spread breadcrumbs over top and bake 20mins or until golden.

Tip

I cooked the Pasta on the cooktop, as I find it's too much for the Thermomix.

    Really nice thanks, next time I'll use less pasta as daughter likes it more 'saucy' than set. Even my husband liked it.
