Love this recipe although i add a few extra bits:
-red capsicum, an extra tin Tuna, capers and lemon zest and a sprinkle of panko breadcrumbs on top.
Gives it a bit more filling and zing.
Thank you for your recipe, yummo.

Lovely tuna bake. One daughter had 3 helpings! The other two weren't as keen, but that is only because they don't like tuna. I made it with about 300g of pasta.

Hi...it tastes great, but felt it needed more pasta for 6 portions and the sauce was too runny. I followed it to the letter..oh why? So maybe next time less milk, less lemon juice, more pasta and cook it for longer? Did anyone else experience this? I'll definitely make this again though. So easy and very yummy.

    Submitted by NoUseForAName on 1. February 2016 - 21:27.

Great recipe.  I skip the cheese part as my daughter doesn't like cheese.  I've made it several times, and tonight had to improvise as I was lacking some of the main ingredients (tuna, pasta and sweetcorn).  Added mushroom and some of our homegrown veggies in place of the tuna - I did have one small tin, so that added the flavour the kids were looking for - and added rice noodles instead of the pasta.  I made some bread crumbs for the top in place of the cheese topping.  Yum Yum was the kids response. Winner!!
