Chicken Ginger Wontons

  • 200 grams boneless skinless chicken thigh, Roughly chopped
  • 200 grams chicken breast fillet, Roughly chopped
  • 50 grams fresh mushrooms, Roughly chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 centimetres ginger, stem, Peeled
  • 1/2 bunches fresh chives, Chopped
  • 1-2 tablespoons coriander, Chopped
  • 1-2 tablespoons spring onion, Chopped
  • 1 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoons soy sauce

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. 1. Place the chicken, mushrooms,egg, ginger, chives, coriander,spring onion, sesame seeds and soy sauce in bowl (8 sec speed 8)
    2. Clean and dry mixing bowl
    3. Place approximately 2 teaspoons of the filling mixture into the centre of each wrapper fold and pick the edges together to form a sealed parcel.
    4. Line the varoma with baking paper and place wontons leaving a space between so they don't touch.
    5. Place 700ml water into bowl and place varoma into position and steam. (18-20 mins/ varoma / speed 2)
    6. Serve with soy sauce.
