  • 178 g water
  • 1 1/2 heaped tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons bicarbonate of soda
  • 345 g self-raising flour
  • 1 1/2 eggs

Recipe's preparation

    Cake
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and grease medium cake pan
  2. Add margarine, water, cocoa, sugar and bicarbonate soda.
  3. Mix at 8 minutes, 100°C, speed 2
  4. Allow to cool.
  5. Add flour and eggs.
  6. Mix 2 minutes, speed 3.
  7. Scrap down sides of bowl
  8. Mix 30 sec, speed 2
  9. Place batter in greased cake pan.
  10. Bake for 20 minutes

    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
