Coleslaw with Tahini Honey "Mayo"

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cabbage, roughly chopped
  • 2 carrots, peeled & chopped into 4
  • 1/2 red capsicum, quartered
  • 2 sticks celery, chopped into 4
  • 1 Lemon Juiced
  • 20 g Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
  • 1 tablespoon Raw Honey
  • 1 pinch of Himalayan salt
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1 handful, raw cashews
  • 1 handful, dried currants
  • 1/4 red onion
  • 1 small green apple, quartered

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add cabbage, carrot, capsicum, celery and onion to TM bowl.
    Add lemon juice, EVOO, tahini, honey and salt. 
    Chop for 6-10 seconds on speed 4.

    Serve garnished with currants and cashews

    Made a few tweaks of my own, used maple syrup instead of honey and played around with the veggies. Will be adding this one the favourites list.

    Thanks for sharing. Yummy variation of coleslaw. I left out currents but it didn’t matter. Dressing made the difference.

    I really enjoyed this recipe, didn't want to make the full serve so I guessed at quantities and it still turned out nicely. Could easily be made vegan too!

    Nice coleslaw - easy to make and tasty too.  We weren't sure when the green apple and red onion were meant to be added so they ended up being forgotten.  We'll make this again .  Thanks for the recipe

    Great easy salad. Thanks! I also had the spare apple at the end so chopped it and folded it in at the end. I'm assuming should've been chopped with the first lot of veggies.
