If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Place 1600g water
Add 80g white vinegar
Brush or spray simmering basket with oil
Insert simmering basket
Heat water for 12 mins Varoma Temp on speed 1 with the measuring cup placed in the lid
Crack 2 eggs into separate containers and set aside
Remove lid and gently place the cracked eggs into the water
Cook for 3 mins at 100◦ on speed 1
Take the eggs out with a slotted spoon whilst the simmering basket is still in place

YUMO!!! Finally a simple easy poached egg recipe! Thanks so much! I've struggled to make poached eggs, and didn't find the BCB very successful! But these are PERFECT!!
