If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Place Parmesan into mixing bowl & grate 5 sec/speed 9. Transfer into a bowl & set aside.
Place Potatoes, Salt and milk into mixing bowl, insert measuring cup and cook 15 min/100°C/speed "Gentle stir setting" .
Add Butter & reserved Parmesan Cheese, insert measuring cup & mash 30sec/speed 3. Serve hot.

This recipe is AMAZING!!! Absolutely the best mashed potatoes - just like doing it all by hand. I did agree that it was a tad salty but I eyeballed versus measuring so it may have been me being heavy-handed. Thanks for posting this!!

Great recipe my only complaint was too much salt especially with adding the parmesan. Next time I would probably only put 1/4 tsp
