      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip

I left the skin on the apples and the orange - if your not a fan of orange rind then only use half the rind
This chutney is great with hot or cold meats and cheese platters, and used in rolls and sandwiches
lasts 2 weeks in the fridge and makes approx 800ml

This Beetroot and Orange Spiced Chutney is tasty.

I used cardamon instead of corriander.
My beetroots were rock hard, so I should of used more liquid and cooked longer, but it still turned out great.

A lovely, earthy chutney. Super easy to make. I used the whole orange and didn’t find it too overpowering. Looking forward to trying this with leftover Christmas ham and on tarts with Fetra cheese! 👍🏻

Love it! I had a thick skinned orange so decided to zest it, use the zest, then peel the orange, but other than that no changes. Thanks for a great recipe
