  • 15 --- jalapeños, sliced in half lengthways, seeds removed
  • 100 g Chedder cheese, Cubed
  • 100 g Philly cheese, Cubed
  • 100 g Diced bacon
  • 100 g Milk
  • 100 g gluten free flour
  • 200 g Gluten Free Bread Crumbs

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Poppers
  1. Slice jalapenos lengthways and remove seeds, discard seeds.

    Add chedder to bowl and grate 10sec/speed 8

    Add Philly cheese and mix 10sec/speed 8

    Add diced bacon and chop 10sec speed 6-8 or until no large chunks of bacon remain

    Spoon cheese mix into Jalapeno halves and refridgerate for 10 mins to set cheese. Meanwhile put in sperate bowls milk, flour and crumbs.

    Remove poppers from fridge and crumb, in this order: milk, flour, milk breadcrumbs.

    Place back in fridge or 10 mins to ensure cheese is firm. Meanwhile heat oil in a frypan on the stove.

    When oil is heated fry crumbed poppers cheese side down for about 1-2 mins or until brown, then flip over to brown the other side.

    Drain on papertowel and Enjoy!!
