  • 1 tbl baking powder

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Rhubarb
  1. Peel and slice Rhubarb

    Prepare cake tin, line bottom and butter sides

    Preheat Oven to 180o C

  2. Place butter, eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder and salt into mixing bowl and mix 20 sec/speed6, scarpe down the sides and repeat for a few seconds.  Pour into prepared tin and spread evenly with spatula.  Spread Rhubarb over the top of the mixture and sprinkly with a little extra sugar.

    Bake for approx 35-40 mns or untill skewer comes away clean, dust top of cake with sugar before serving,, serve with yogurt, cream or ice cream.  yummy served warm.
