I had leftover egg whites from making lemon crumble slice, twice, so I doubled the recipe, used the rose gold muffin tin, and poked frozen cherries instead of raspberries.

Lovely flavour. not too sweet. Only thing is I was not sure opf the interval setting...is that the dough setting? I think I over mixed and they came out a little rubbery. Trying again this time using the dough setting.

Might be a silly question: what is interval speed and where to find it on TM5? I can find spoon stirring speed, turbo and dough mode, but not interval speed?

Beautiful friands didn't
Beautiful friands didn't realise how easy they are to make! Yum
First time ever making
First time ever making friands and they were absolutely delicions. I added the zest of 1 lemon and ground it up with the almonds. I used reduced fat butter and swapped out a third of the sugar for Natvia (granulated stevia). Then at the end before baking I pressed a whole raspberry into the centre of the friand (about 3/4 down so only 1/4 of raspberry poking out of the batter) and lightly placed a few flaked almonds onto the batter around it. Baked it in a muffin tin because I don't have a friand tin and they turned out perfectly. Will defnitely make again, might use orange zest and blueberries next time just to try something different.
