Raw Lamington Snack Bars

  • 100 grams Coconut, Shredded or Desiccated
  • 90 grams medjool dates, Approx 5-6
  • 20 grams raw cacao powder
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Bean Paste
  • 20 grams coconut oil

      TM 5
      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Raw Lamington Snack Bars
  1. Place all ingredients into Thermomix Bowl.
    Put lid on, insert Measuring Cup.
    Mix 45 secs/Speed 8
    Press mixture into silicon snack bar mould & press down evenly. Or press into prelined slice tin.
    Set in Refridgerator for approx 1 hour.
    Press out of moulds & store in container or cut into desired size bars.

    Enjoy.

    Followed the recipe exactly except I used dried dates and found the mixture a little dry! The taste is great, and was able to cut through it quite easily
