Chop 3 sec / speed 7. Scrap down sides of bowl. Repeat in 1 sec bursts if necessary.

    Saute 3min / Varoma temperature (120C for TM5) / speed 1.

    3) Return tomatoes & turkey or chicken to TM bowl. Add spices, stock & beans. Add diced capsicum. Mix ingredients together in TM bowl with spatula.

Cook 30 min / 100C / Counter-clockwise operation / Gentle stir setting with TM basket on top.

    4) Serve with sides of your choice e.g. guacamole, rice, tortillas, mashed potato, bread or toast.

  2. Precooking of chicken breasts if you don't have any left-overs - (adds 25 minutes cooking time to recipe, and time for cooked meat to cool)
  3. 1) Place 1 litre of water in TM bowl.

    2) Place chicken breasts on top tray of Varoma

  • Excellent and very tasty, but

Excellent and very tasty, but my tomatoes seemed to disappear into a purée, maybe fresh whole tomatoes would be better?

  • LOVED this! I used cannellini

    Submitted by Kaaateee on 22. January 2015 - 23:20.

LOVED this! I used cannellini beans and 700g of chicken. Served it with fresh bread rolls and garlic butter - clean plates all round.

The next day, we took some of the leftovers, reheated and then strained the excess liquid out and served it in the soft stand n stuff tortillas with sour cream and cheese.

    Highly recommended.

Oh wow! I made this tonight, didn't have leftover chicken so I cooked 2 breasts first in oven with vegetable stock and water covering it. It was delicious. I used fresh tomatoes and fresh soaked chickpeas.  Yum!
