      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place garlic, onions and parsley leaves to Closed lid and chop 10 seconds speed 6.
  2. Scrape down sides of bowl. Add Woestershire sauce, eggs, oats, stock and mince. Knead Dough mode for about 1 min or until combined.
  3. Heat deep sided frypan with olive oil on moderate heat. Roll meat mixture into 5cm balls. Turn occasionally until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Add pasta sauce to meatballs and stir occasionally. Turn heat down to low and allow to simmer for about 30 min. If you have a lid to fit the frypan use during the simmering stage.
  5. While the meatballs are simmering cook some mashed potato/pasta/rice.

    * Meatballs go well with Mashed potato, Pasta, Rice (Cauliflower rice or Zoodles for a low carb/calorie option).

    Enjoy!

Tip

* You can use any pasta sauce of your choice. In this recipe I used two 500g jars of Leggo's. One Bolognese and one Creamy Mozzarella and sundried tomato sauce.
