Cheesy Chicken Sausage Rolls

  • 150 g Tasty cheese
  • 50 g Vintage Cheddar Cheese, If you don’t like the flavour just replace with tasty cheese
  • 50 g Parmesan cheese
  • 120 g bread, or breadcrumbs
  • 1 --- carrot
  • 5 sprigs fresh parsley leaves
  • 500 g boneless skinless chicken thigh
  • 1 tbsp veggie stock paste, or 1tsp chicken stock powder
  • 3 sheets Puff pastry, slice in half
  • 4 tablespoons Milk, for brushing

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180°c
  2. Grate tasty and cheddar cheese using TM6 chop mode or 6sec/SP7. Transfer to separate bowl.
  3. Grate Parmesan using TM6 chop mode or 10sec/sp10. Add to tasty cheese.
  4. Blitz bread and fresh parsley into herb breadcrumbs using chop mode or 6sec/sp7. Add to cheese in separate bowl.
  5. Add carrots (or other veg) and chop 3sec/SP5.5.
  6. Add chopped chicken to veg in TM bowl, add other reserved ingredients plus chicken/veg stock.
  7. Mix all ingredients 15sec/sp6, or until well combined and minced.
  8. Cut puff pastry sheets in half and spoon mixture into centre, brush edge with milk and roll over to seal.
  9. cut into thirds and transfer to baking sheet, brush with milk and top with sesame seeds.
  10. Bake until golden brown and enjoy!

Tip

Make sure your ingredients (particularly the chicken) isn't too cold/frozen or it will cause the blades to seize and not chop properly.
