  • 300 grams Potatos, Cut into pieces. 3cm
  • 600 grams water
  • broccoli florets
  • 2 carrots, cut into small sticks or rings

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add Water to mixing bowl
  2. Place in simmering basket and add potatoes
  3. Place varoma into Thermomix lid onto the thermomix bowl
  4. Add broccoli and Carrots into Varoma
  5. Add Varoma tray and add frozen peas
  6. Place varoma lid on and cook for 25 minutes, Varoma temperature, speed 1.
  7. Take off Varoma lid, plcase Varoma ontop of the lid on your bench, using spatular remove simmering basket
  8. If you want to mash your potatoes continue...
  9. Pour out the water from the mixing bowl
  10. Add cooked Potatoes
  11. 2 Tablespoons milk
  12. 2 Tablespoons butter
  13. Mash 10 seconds, speed 4
  14. Repeat if there are still lumps.
  15. Serve and enjoy
