Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip
* You can use the pasta of your choice, I prefer Gluten Free, Spelt Pasta or Wholemeal.
* Feel free to substitute chicken for tuna or peas for both or either of the green vegetables.
* I always make double this recipe as I have a large family and a large Bessimer deep dish. To do this, simply prep all ingredients as necessary, remembering to do the cheese in a few batches so as to not overload your machine. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

No problem. Just use your favourite cooking oil instead. Some coconut oils have a defined taste so I use good quality organic cold pressed coconut oil. Thanks for your comment

Thought this was Nice
however personal choice I didn't like the taste of the coconut in the dish and think it would be better with just olive oil, which I will try next time.

I always used canned (chopped) tomatoes but you can certainly use fresh ones. I have tweaked this recipe today so you are welcome to try the new easier version if you like
I've tweaked the recipe so
I've tweaked the recipe so there are now 4 leaves of spinach or kale. It is just the actual leaf of a silverbeet or a kale stalk with the leaf. I tend to just remove the stem altogether. You can also substitute with baby spinach leaves or any green vegetable you like
Sorry about the delay in response. I had actually no idea anybody had tried my recipe at all!

Yes definitely sub out the tuna with chicken! Maybe before you start prepping though you might want to steam it in the varoma for 20mins and then shred it with a fork?? Or ive never tried it before but you could possible shred it on a .5 sec turbo pulse??
My husband and 5 kids, aged
My husband and 5 kids, aged 11 down to 2, absolutely demolished this tonight. Good one! I sprinkled two weet bix on top with the cheese because I couldn't be bothered with bread crumbs (so lazy I know, but I didn't have a clean bowl!) and used 300g of pasta shells and only about 200g of cheese. I think I'd lessen the TMX stock paste next time and maybe throw in some peas, too.

Made this tonight & it was yum! I made Italian breadcrumbs today (from EDC), so mixed these with cheese for the top layer...worked really well. I added a small tin of tomatoes where it says to add tomatoes, and that worked well.

Just cooked this for dinner and it was fantastic! Went such a long way as well - easy, quick and healthy. I added two average sized tomatoes as well as the paste. This is going on the weekly menu for sure.
