Delicious!! Thank you for providing a recipe that ticks all the boxes for us Smile

I didn't add chilli as my hubby isn't a fan of very spicy food. I also added a tsp of TM veg stock concentrate in the final shredding stage with the tomato paste.

This is is our new go-to for burritos and tacos! Thanks again :)

This was delicious and loved by the whole family. I did however, take the adviof to the other reviews and only shredded for 4 seconds and it was perfect.

Amazing Amazing Amazing ....... so good.  We eat Burritos at least once a fortnight, this recipe is so much tastier than the supermarket spice packet.  I followed the entire recipe, however I only shredded the beef for 6 seconds.  THIS IS A MUST TRY RECIPE.  Yum, thank you for the recipe.

Really great - also only shredded the beef for 4 seconds and it was perfect. I also mixed in a can of kidney beans at the end just for some extra goodness. Thanks for a great and super fast recipe.

This is our favourite! Goes really well with chicken too  Smile

Awesome! My 6 year old who has an aversion to meat ate this very happily. Smile Cheers!! (I omitted the chilli to make it kid friendly, and just added medium old el paso taco sauce to my husband and I's tacos for more heat for us adults). So nice to get a recipe that isn't tomato based. THANKYOU! Smile

what's the best type of beef to use? could i use rump steak for this?

Really delicious. Had this on the side with Cyndi O'Mearas layered taco dip. Yum!  Had never done beef in basket like this so, after owning TM for nearly a year, am constantly surprised.   Smile Was a little hot (so be aware of how much chilli you use!).

Only need to shred for 4 -5 seconds though.

The whole family loved this, only shredded for 4 seconds came out perfect, thanks. Smile

One of the first things I made in my Thermomix and we loved it. Have made several times and as other people have noted, I usually shred for less time.  Really good with freshly made wraps.

This has now made it's way to our "regular" meal rotation.  I have used it in a couple of ways now

1. standard burrito (yum)

2. with salad, salsa and baked mountain bread "chip"

3. as a pizza pocket filling with  cheese and a little avo

Really nice flavour, I think next time I'll shred the beef for less time so it remains chunkier. Thank you for sharing!

:)yum, this is a hit!

Laughing out loud I am trying to amend slightly so the beef cooks in the fluid as I would do in the slow cooker. I also found 4 sec shredding was a really good amount of time to still have it longer shredded pieces and not too fine. Thanks for sharing
