Ingredients

Creamy Bacon Pasta

  • 6 sprigs parsley, leaves only
  • 40 g Parmesan cheese, cubed
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled
  • 1 brown onion, halved
  • 3 slices Bacon, diced
  • 400 g warm water
  • 200 g thickened cream
  • 50 g white wine
  • 150 g pasta, dry, Spiral, shells, spaghetti, macaroni
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt, optional
  • 100 g frozen peas

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Add Parmesan and parsley to bowl. Chop 10 sec/sp 6.
    2. Set aside and wipe bowl out.
    3. Add garlic and onion and chop 3 secs/sp 5.
    2. Add bacon and saute 3 mins/speed 1/Reverse.
    3. Place remaining ingredients into bowl and program 15 mins/100/spoon soft/Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation"
    4. Add frozen peas and pour into Thermoserver and allow to sit for around 10 minutes for pasta to absorb the sauce and peas to cook.
    Serve sprinkled with the parmesan & parsely mixture.

Let the pasta sit for a few minutes before serving to absorb liquid.

Steam some mixed veggies in the Varoma while cooking the pasta. Add to the pasta when placed into the Thermoserver.

Swap out the bacon for mushrooms for a vegetarian version.

Use salami, pancetta or ham instead of bacon.

Add chopped cooked chicken in place of bacon.

Add tomato paste, grilled mediterranean veggies and semi dried tomatoes for a mediterranean version.
