Recipe's preparation

  1. Place steam basket on Thermomix lid and weigh 300g of rice into the basket.
  2. Rinse the rice under cold running water until the water runs clear.
  3. Place the basket with the rice into the Thermomix bowl and add 1000g of water.
  4. Cook for 18-20min/Varoma/Speed 4.
  5. When the rice is cooked, remove the steam basket with the spatula and pour rice into a serving bowl and use a fork to fluff up the rice.

Tip

Cook jasmine rice for 18 min and basmati rice for 20 min.
