      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Another quick and easy baby puree. Babies love the sweet taste of carrots!
  1. Place water into TM bowl. Insert simmering basket and place carrot into it.
  2. Cook 24min / Varoma / speed 1. (check carrot is cooked through)
  3. Remove simmering basked using spatula. Empty water from mixing bowl. empty water from mixing bowl.
  4. Place cooked carrot into TM bowl. Puree 25 sec / speed 4-8. (increasing speed gradually from 4 - tmrc_emoticons.8). Scrape down sides

Tip

Add 30 - 50mls of water to make puree even smoother.
