For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Add flour, paprika, thyme and butter to bowl.
Mix speed 6 for 10 second bursts until mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs - Add egg yolk and chilled water to bowl.
Mix reverse in 5 second bursts until dough comes together.
Add more water in teaspoon amounts if required to bring dough together. - Remove dough and mould into flat disc.
Wrap in cling film and refrigerate for at least 30 mins.
