If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place quinoa and chia seeds into TM bowl and grind for 30 seconds on Speed 9.

Add sesame seeds and 1/2 the water to TM bowl and mix for 6 seconds on Speed 6.  Add more water if needed and mix again for 6 seconds.

Pinch off dough in small amounts and roll out very thinly in circle shapes (or cut out circles shapes with cookie cutter).

Bake in oven at 200oC for about 5-7 minutes or until golden or you can use the sandwich press until lightly browned.  Sandwich press takes a little longer but can get a real production line happening if you are organised.

    Makes about 100 crackers.

Tip

You can flavour them with your favourite herb if you want but I love them as is.
