Savoury Scone

Savoury Scone

  • 80g Salted butter, Cubed
  • 100g ham, Chopped
  • 100g Tasty cheese, Grated
  • 390g self-raising flour
  • 220g Milk
  • 1/2 red capsicum, Choppped
  • 4 tablespoons fresh chives, Chopped
  • Cracked Pepper to taste

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180deg fan forced
    Add butter to Closed lid & mix sp 7 until blended
    Add flour sp 7 until it is the consistency of fine breadcrumbs
    Add cheese, ham, capsicum, chives, pepper and manually stir with spatula to coat ingredients
    Finally add milk & mix Counter-clockwise operation sp 4 for 10 sec or until combined
    Tip onto a floured surface & flatten to 3cm depth
    Cut scones out gently with MC or scone cutter if you prefer a larger scone
    Place in preheated oven for 25min or until golden
    Enjoy warm with a good slathering of butter😁
