If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip

Oh my goodness...sooo yummy...

Freeze well...if they make it to the freezer tmrc_emoticons.D

No pie-maker..? Cut out to fit individula pie dishes or Texac muffin pans and bake until cooked. (No need to par-bake the bases though)

Delicious! I added sliced mushrooms to the pan while cooking the bacon. And I didn't have french onion soup mix so just used garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Turned out great!

There were so delicious. My mum made them last night for dinner.
I’m already thinking pine nuts and mushrooms would work also.
Thabks so much for the recipe

I’m assuming you add the bacon at the same time as all the other ingredients? It’s just not mentioned in the preparation notes. 😊
