Shortcrust Pastry (per Basic cookbook savoury)

  • 1 egg
  • 20 g olive oil
  • 1 onion, peeled cut in quarters
  • 1 zucchini, cut into large chunks
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg
  • 50 g pecorino cheese, (Parmesan is fine too)

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Filling
  1. Place onion and zucchni into MB. Chop 3 seconds, Vel 5

    Add olive oil, salt, pepper, nutmeg

    Saute' for 25 minutes. Counter-clockwise operationGentle stir setting 100

     

  2. Roll out Shortcust Pastry to match size/length of your muffin tray.

    Cut Pastry to line your "cups".

  3. When Filling is cooked, add egg and Pecorino

    (you can add another pinch of salt, petter, nutmeg for luck)

    Mix 5 seconds, Vel 3

    Spoon Filling one by one into "cups". 

  4. Plcae into oven 180 degrees for 35 minutes or until pastry is golden brown.
