      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. 1. Pre-heat oven to 180c & paper line a 27x17 cm slice tin or mini loaf tin.
    2. Melt butter 50 degrees / 3 minutes / speed 2, then set aside in a seperate bowl to cool slightly. I did this in microwave to save time.
    3. Quarter apples & remove core. I kept the skin on, but you can remove it if your prefer.
Place apple in bowl & chop 4 seconds / speed 4. Scrape down bowl.
    5. Add sugar and mix 4 seconds / speed 3 to coat apple.
    6. Add flour & baking powder to bowl. Mix 10 seconds / speed 2 / reverse - to coat the apple.
    7. Add butter, sultanas & egg to apple mixture & mix 15 seconds / speed 4 / reverse, or till combined.
    8. Spoon into prepared tin, smooth top & sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, bake 25-30 minutes for slice tin or 15 for mini loaf, till golden.
    Slice when cool.

Tip

This is great served warm with either cream, ice-cream or custard.
Also a lovely morning/afternoon tea with a cuppa or kids lunchboxes.
