  • 250 grams Butter, 2cm cubed
  • 10 grams instant coffee granules
  • 400 grams white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 10 grams vanilla extract
  • 290 grams plain flour
  • 10 grams baking powder
  • 70 grams cocoa powder
  • 300 grams chocolate chips
  • 10 grams icing sugar, to dust (optional)

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees Celsius.

    Line a large brownie 28cm x 18cm baking tin with baking paper.
  2. Place 250 grams butter into the Thermomix®[/b] Bowl. Set Warm Up"Warm Up" 60°C, speed 1, and melt for 4 minutes
  3. Add 10 grams of instant coffee, 400 grams of white sugar, 4 eggs, and 10 grams of vanilla extract into the bowl. Mix 20 seconds on speed 6.
  4. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
  5. Add 290 grams flour, 10 grams baking powder, and 70 grams cocoa powder into the Thermomix®[/b] bowl, Mix 10 seconds on speed 5.
  6. Wipe down the sides and add 300 grams chocolate chips and fold through the mixture using the spatula.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin bake for approximately 1 hours on 170°C.

    Set the time for 1 hour.
  8. Once the brownie has cooked, allow it to cool on a baking rack, then cut it into squares and dust with icing sugar.

When halving this recipe, use a 20cm square baking dish and adjust the baking time accordingly.

Ensure the butter is fully melted before proceeding to the next step.

Pre-mill the icing sugar before melting the butter, using the icing sugar recipe on Cookidoo®[/b] or mill white sugar for 10 seconds on speed 10.
