The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Set oven to 160.
Place baking paper on 2 trays.
Weigh the butter, sugar, egg and vanilla into the Thermomix.

Add flour.

Chop melts roughly in half and add to the Thermomix
Stir by hand OR 15sec/speed2.
Scoop large tablespoonsful of mixture into a ball and flatten with a fork into biscuits on tray and place in oven for 10 minutes.
Leave to cool on tray outside of the oven for 10 minutes before inhaling!
