      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Preheat Oven to 180 degrees

    2. Line a biscuit tray with baking paper

    3. Place 140g Cornflakes into TM Bowl. Crush for 1 second SP7. Repeat with second 140g. Set Cornflakes aside in seperate bowl.

    4. Add Butter, Sugar, Eggs and Vanilla Essence. Cream 20secs SP6. Scrape down bowl.

    5. Add SR Flour and 140g Cornflakes. Combine 10secs SP4. Scrape down bowl and Repeat.

    6. Add Choc Chips, Counter-clockwise operation SP3 for around 10secs. Spatula may be required to help mix choc chips into dough.

    7. Form into walnut sized balls and roll in leftover crushed Cornflakes, and place on baking tray.

    8. Bake for approx 20mins or until golden.
