Custard and white chocolate biscuits

Ingredients

40 piece(s)

Biscuits

  • 140 grams Butter
  • 175 grams caster sugar
  • 1 egg
  • dash vanilla
  • 225 grams Self Raising Flour
  • 85 grams custard powder
  • 85 grams White Chocolate Chips

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Preheat oven to 180C and line one large or 2 baking trays with parchment paper.

    1. Add butter and sugar to Closed lid.

    2. Blitz 30 secs/sp 4. Scrape and repeat. 

    3. Add egg and vanilla 

    4. Blitz 15 secs/ sp4. Scrape.

    5. Add all remaining ingredients except White choc bits.

    6. Blitz 15 secs/sp 4. Scrape.

    7. Add choc bits.

    8. Combine 10 secs/ Sp3 Counter-clockwise operation. Scrape and repeat if neccessary. Use your spatula to assist with the mixing.

    10. Roll into walnut size balls and place on prepared tray. Flatten slightly with a fork.

    11. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.

    12. Leave on tray/s to cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire  rack for cooling. Store in an airtight container.

    Delicious. Didn't add choc chips. Also reduced sugar to 150g. Rolled out biscuit pastry and used cookie cutter. Added half glacé cherrie on top. Looked very pretty and tasted great. Thanks for recipe, going in to my favourite biscuit folder.

    Delicious biscuits and form perfect shape when rolling. Only thing I changed was reduced sugar to 150g and was perfect for us. Definately be making again.

    Really yummy, but overcooked a bit at 180 for 15 mins, I found 160 for 12 minutes worked better, but of course every oven is different! For my second batch I used dried cherries instead of choc-chips and they were soooo good!

    Very nice! Reduced the sugar a little to 140g, sweet enough. Only made 26 (my idea of walnuts must be bigger than yours)
