Dairy free pancakes/crepes

  • 500 g plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3-4 eggs, depending on size
  • 1 tbsp vinegar, white
  • 120 g vegetable oil
  • 1000 g water

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to the bowl. Mix for 20s/sp4. Check for lumps and mix for longer if necessary.


Accessories you need



You only need a few drops of oil in your pancake pan and only for the first one. Because this recipe has oil in it you don't need to re-oil your pan in between.

Great for breakfast or as a dessert. Ideas for toppings: cinnamon sugar, lemon juice, banana, honey, maple syrup, berries, chocolate spread or go savoury: tuna mayo, chicken mayo, etc.

    Terrific recipe! It makes heaps of beautiful crepes! I filled them with left over take away duck in plum sauce, that I reheated then shredded a bit, thanks thermo! Then I did likewise with a yellow chicken curry. And for dessert I filled them with diced strawberries in whipped cream with biscuit crumbs (not dairy free, but we were out of milk not intolerant). The 6 of us ate like kings!
