If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
1. Add Dates and Apricots to TM bowl and chop 3 sec Spd 7, increase in 1 sec lots to get desired consistency - we prefer ours chunky
2.Add Butter, Sugar and water to bowl, and cook 6 mins 100 deg "Counter-clockwise operation" Spd 1 MC Off
3. Allow to cool until temp is 60 deg or below (approx 1/2 hour). While waiting grease muffin pans - 12 if you prefer larger muffins or 14-16 if you prefer kids sized portions. Preheat oven to 180 Deg.
4. Add Banana 15 sec "Counter-clockwise operation" Spd 3
5. Add rest of ingredients as listed 7sec on "Counter-clockwise operation" Spd 4 until combined, if not quite come together do again for 2 sec.
6. Spoon into muffin pans and bake for 20 mins - for larger muffins increase the time by 3 mins. Muffins will bounce back when done.

Didn't like these: they were soggy and the apricot doesn't seem to go with the banana and date flavours. I would consider making them again but will use chopped apple or pear instead of the apricot.
