Tip

Donuts won't go very dark in the oven - test with a skewer to ensure cooked all the way through

We bake ours in a muffin tin since we don't have a donut pan

When using a donut pan might be good to use a piping bag to fill

I've made these a few times and they're amazing, the kids love them! I also make them into muffins as I don't have a doughnut tin.

I made these today for my kids.  They loved them.  I added a blob of jam to the middles of them and left out the nutmeg (because we don't like it) also made in the muffin tin.  Thanks for sharing.  They're great!  tmrc_emoticons.)
