Ingredients

Easter Chockie Egg Macaroons

  • 75 grams Desiccated Coconut
  • 100 grams Shredded coconut
  • 130 grams sugar
  • 3 egg whites
  • 100 grams white chocolate melts

Recipe's preparation

    Preheat oven to 175 (fan forced)
  1. Place all ingredients (except the Chocolate) into the Mixing Bowl

  2. Mix for 20secs/speed 4

     

  3. Press a chocolate melt into a tablespoon of mixture & shape into an oval, like a small Easter Egg. Repeat until there is no more mixture.

  4. Place on a lined baking tray (Oven Thermomat) and bake for 10-12 mins or until golden.

Tip

Can be made in the TM31

Can be made with Dark or Milk Chocolate.

    I made this recipe because I had 3 egg whites to use up. It sounded interesting so I thought I'd give it a go. I didn't read the recipe properly and instead of adding the chololate melt into the middle of the mix I accidently blended my white chocolate melts into the whole mix and formed small balls and baked. Luckily,  It turned out great. Next time I will do the same and decrease the sugar because they are very sweet.
