Easy Fruit Slice (Gluten Free Version)

Ingredients

Fruit Slice (Gluten Free)

  • 4 dried apricots, Whole
  • 8 pitted dates or prunes, Whole
  • 160 grams Gluten free self raising flour
  • 270 grams Milk (Any)
  • 155 grams Mixed fruit
  • 70 grams Shredded coconut
  • 120 grams raw sugar

Recipe's preparation

    Preheat Oven to 150 (fan forced)
  1. Place apricots & dates into the mixing bowl then 2 secs/Turbo

  2. Add all other ingredients in any order 20sec/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 4

  3. Put wet mixture into a lined baking slice tin and flatten

  4. Bake in oven for approximately 40 mins

Tip

Can be made with wholemeal or white SR Flour but it would no longer be Gluten Free. Replace the Flour listed with 1 metric cup of whichever Flour you use.

Can be made with LSA instead of GF SR Flour, but it would no longer be Nut Free. Replace Flour listed with 1 cup of LSA (linseed, sunflower seed & almond) & omit the SR Flour.  This version is still Gluten Free & contains a great deal more fibre, so extra good for you!

Can be made with Soy or any other milk to cater for non-dairy version. It will equate to 1 cup of the Milk you choose.

    This recipe can be made in a TM31.  

    It originated & evolved from my awesome Brunswick Mothers group which began back in 2002 when our first borns bonded us together.  Enjoy!
