Easy peasy Apple cinnamon scrolls: Dough

  • 300 g natural yogurt
  • 330 g SR flour
  • pinch salt

Apple & Cinnamon filling

  • 2-3 granny smith apples, Peeled and diced
  • 1-2 tbsp cinnamon, ground
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 1 tsp plain flour
  • Milk to brush on the dough

Icing

  • 240 g icing sugar
  • Enough cream to make a runny mixture

Recipe's preparation

    How to:
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
    Line a good sized lamington tray.

    Add all the dough ingredients to the and combine 20secs/sp7.

    Knead 3 mins.

    Add a little extra flour if necessary to make a workable dough.

    Roll out on a lightly floure surface to app. 30 x 40cm.

    Brush with a little milk.

    Combine the cinnamon, sugar and flour in a cup.

    Sprinkle the dough liberally with this mixture.

    Sprinkle apples all all over the dough and roll up tightly Swiss roll style.

    Cut into 2cm slices and place on the prepared baking tray.

    Bake for around 20 mins, until golden.

    Drizzle with icing if desired.
