Recipe's preparation

  1. Add 50g of white sugar into the pot, add some water, cook over medium heat until the sugar is melted and become caramel. Add caramel juice to the flan molds, then set aside (about 1/2 - 1 tbsp per mold).
Note: Do not overheat, it is easy to burn the caramel.
  2. In a large pot, heat 450ml of fresh milk with 150ml of milk, stirring to mix well without boiling.
  3. In 1 large bowl, beat 3 chicken eggs with 2 liquid red chicken eggs. Slowly pour the heated milk mixture into the egg, pouring and stirring until the flan mixes well. Add a pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon of vanilla water, stir well.
How to make delicious flan: Gently stir your hands to avoid creating many air bubbles that cause pitting.
  4. Put the flan mixture into the caramel poured cake molds. Using a bamboo toothpick, break the air bubbles on the surface of the cake before steaming to avoid pitting the flan. Cover the pan with foil and steam for about 30 minutes.
Wrapping foil will help prevent water from falling onto the surface of the cake. Do not steam for too long will pore the surface of the cake.
  5. After being steamed, the flan will be steamed, wait a while for the cake to cool down, and then put it on a plate. You can add a nice and delicious flan dish to your plate by sprinkling it with caramel and placing it on your favorite fruit topping.
Many of you like flan snacks with shaved ice, sprinkled with syrup or fruit jams, coffee, condensed milk ... are all delicious.
