      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add oil, orange juice, and sugars to bowl. Blend 5 sec, speed 5.
  2. Add 300g flour, baking powder, bicsrb and cinammon, blend 5sec sp5.
  3. Check consistency - add 20g more flour, at a time, if required and mix sp5, 5 sec. This will depend on your flour. I ended up using an extra 60g flour (so 360 total) .
You want the dough to be soft and wet so it can stick into the sugar but not so wet you can't roll it.
  4. Roll into shapes of your choice, I like the simple roll/braid but you can do anything!
  5. Place into sugar bowl, gently, and coat each side with cinammon sugar.
  6. Place on tray lined with baking paper and bake in pre heated oven for 15-17 minutes.

These will last a few weeks..... If you don't eat them all the first day!
  7. Cinammon sugar
  8. Mix sugar and cinammon in a separate bowl large enough to dip cookies into. If you run out just make more but most times this is enough.
