  • 250 g plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 230 g caster sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence, or Almond essence
  • 110 g almonds, or combination mix Pistachio

Recipe's preparation

    Preheat oven to 180°c. Line baking tray with baking paper and lightly dust with flour.
  1. 1. Add Plain flour, Baking powder and sugar - use dough modeDough mode"Dough mode" blend together.
  2. 2. Add eggs, vanilla essense DoughDough mode"Dough mode" /1 min Repeat if necessary.
  3. 3. Add almonds and mix Dough modeDough mode"Dough mode" /40sec Repeat if necessary.
  4. 4. Transfer to prepard baking sheet:

    Dough will be thick and sticky - moisten hands to shape into 2 logs.

    Place apart on prepare sheet and Bake 30 minuts until golden brown.

    The dough will be soft, allow to cool 10minutes.

    Reduce Temperature to 150°c
  5. Using a sharp knife cut on the diagonal into slices. Place cuts die down, and bake for 15min.

    Allow to cool completely.

Tip

Christmas time add mix almonds and pistahio and dried cranberries for that festive look.
