Orange Custard Powder Biscuits
- 175 g Butter
- 112 g caster sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla Paste
- 1 orange, rind grated and juiced
- 270 g self-raising flour, gluten free works for this recipe
- 65 g custard powder

- Preheat oven to 180c. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
- Place butter and sugar in bowl and cream for 30 seconds on speed 4.
- Scrape down sides of bowl and mix again for 30 seconds on speed 4.
- Add egg, vanilla, orange rind and 1 tablespoon juice. Mix on speed 4 for 15 seconds.
- Add flour and custard powder and mix for 15 seconds on speed 4.
- Scrape down sides of bowl and mix for 8 seconds on speed 4.
- Roll tablespoonfuls of mixture into balls. Place on prepared trays. Press each ball down lightly with a fork.
- Bake for 10-20 minutes or until golden. Remove from oven and cool on trays.
