Healthy Banana Bread

  • 130g apple sauce, (from jar)
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 tsp Bi-carb soda
  • 295g self-raising flour

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

    To make batter
  1. Grease loaf tin with cooking spray and line with baking paper.
    Preheat oven to 180C
  2. Add raw sugar to bowl. Blitz for 5 seconds on speed 8. Scrape down sides.
  3. Add egg, bananas, apple sauce and bi-carb soda to bowl. Blitz for 10 seconds on speed 5. Scrape down sides
  4. Add Self-Raising Flour and cinnamon. Mix for 10 seconds on speed 5. Scrape down sides.
  5. Pour the batter into the greased loaf tin and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
