Inside-out Cherry Ripe Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 220 grams Dark chocolate buds
  • 170 grams Coconut, Shredded or dessicated
  • 80 grams craisins (dried cranberries)
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 175 grams sweetened condensed milk, (half a tin)

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 150 degrees celcius.

     

    Place chocolate into bowl and chop 2 seconds on speed 7. 

  2. Add coconut, craisins and baking powder and mix 5 seconds Counter-clockwise operation on speed 4.

  3. Add sweetened condensed milk and combine 20 seconds Counter-clockwise operation on speed 3.

  4. Keeping fingers wet, take generous teaspoons of mixture and press into biscuit shapes on trays.

  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until biscuits are lightly brown on their edges.

     

    Makes about 36 biscuits.

Tip

A block of chocolate may be used in place of buds, with chopping time increased to achieve the same results.

 

If using small chocolate chips or bits, no chopping is required.
